Help Center
Support for families.
Gentle guidance for creating memorials, sharing memories, and caring for the stories your family entrusts to Honored Lives.
Getting Started
Creating a memorial and welcoming it over time.
A memorial on Honored Lives is created by a Family Steward, the person who will care for it. Beginning a memorial takes only a few quiet minutes: a name, a lifespan, and a first photograph or story if you have one. Nothing is ever rushed.
A memorial is meant to grow. Over months and years, it may gather photographs, letters, recipes, voice recordings, videos, tributes, and reflections from many people who loved the same person. The Family Steward decides what is added and what remains private.
Honored Lives memorials are created through a one-time lifetime purchase rather than a recurring subscription.
When you are ready to begin, visit Begin a Memorial.
Family Portal
Invitation-based access for Family Stewards.
Family Portal access is provided to designated Family Stewards after a memorial has been created. Additional stewards, and authorized partner-organization representatives, are added by invitation from Honored Lives or from an existing steward. There is no public sign-up.
A Family Steward is a family member or trusted friend entrusted to care for a memorial. Stewards use the Family Portal to:
- review and approve contributions
- manage privacy and visibility
- invite other family members to help
- edit the memorial and its sections
- organize photographs, voices, and stories
- manage permissions
Visitors who only wish to share memories or view a memorial never need an account. Existing stewards may sign in at the Family Portal.
